Follow these directions to Haverford College. You can park in the visitor lot (south end of campus) or (on Saturday) in faculty parking lots (such as those on Walton road, by the Observatory). Then find your way to Chase hall, by using the campus map posted by the visitor lot, or printing this campus map. Chase hall is building 15, which is near the center of the cluster of academic buildings on top (north) half of map. We'll be meeting in Chase Auditorium, which is at the North end of Chase hall, and has the label "104 lecture hall" by the door. If you arrive early and park in the visitor lot, you may enjoy the slightly longer walk along the nature trail if it hasn't rained recently. (The trail passes by the far (south) side of the parking lot; turn right and go around the west end of campus to come out by the Observatory.)
It is also possible to take AMTRAK to Philadelphia's 30th street station and then connect to SEPTA regional rail. The R5 line stops at Haverford (the station is at the Northeast corner of the campus map). The "Rail Power Project" in downtown Philadelphia should not interfere with this. I believe that all Saturday trains stop at Haverford, but you may want to ask a conductor as you board (if you somehow get on an express to Paoli, you can probably be back in time for lunch). Anyone coming from elsewhere in Philadelphia could also take the SEPTA 100 line to its Haverford station (at the Northwest corner of the campus map).
